Christmas at Grandpa and Grandma's

Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for our Christmas presents! It was a wonderful Christmas with you guys. Jonas doesn't really get it yet.

Max totally gets it and loves to open presents! He's still asking for more presents so he doesn't understand that it's a one day thing.

The BIG gift!
A car for Max!

He knew exactly what to do and how to drive!

A visit to the Cotton's

During our trip to the states we visited our friends, the Cottons, on the east coast of Florida. Max talks about Sacha and Kian all the time. He had a great time with them. We enjoyed our time with them as well(and their parents!). This is Florida snow(soap bubbles).

Sacha is so good with Jonas and Max!

Future basketball player!

Wanna-be basketball player...just kidding honey! You look great!

Pat is a firefighter and Max is crazy(or so we thought) about fire trucks. So, Thomas and Pat took the boys to the fire station. Max was a little afraid as you can see by his expression.

Kian is there to protect him!

Grandpa and Grandma's(wagon rides)

Grandpa and Grandma bought a wagon for the boys and it was a big hit with both of them. The first day we were there Grandpa took them out for a ride in the Florida sunshine. I think the boys prefer the sunny, warm winters!

The weather got a little chilly but that didn't stop the wagon rides!
Grandma's turn! The boys could not get enough of the wagon rides, especially Jonas! He loved sitting in the wagon just looking around. Max got antsy sometimes and got out to pull the wagon.

Grandpa and Grandma's(the arrival)

A month or so before we went to the states Grandma asked me where Max should sleep. I said we'd figure it out when we got there, maybe on the murphy bed or blow up mattress. Well, a couple days before we left for Florida I asked Grandma what the sleeping arrangements would be. Her exact words were, " Don't worry about it. Your Dad and I have it all figured out." This is what we arrived to at Grandpa and Grandma's house... Max was asleep when we got there so he saw it the next morning. His exact words were, " Thomas tog!!!!" In English, "Thomas train". He was beyond excited. Grandpa and Grandma did well. Can you tell who they were most excited to see?????
They also put some wall stickers up in his room. He was in awe!

More stickers to make Max happy! Nothing is too good for Grandpa and Grandma's boy!

The airplane ride over to the states

It was an interesting trip over with the boys. We asked for a bassinet to put on the wall but Jonas was too long for it. So, he decided not to sleep the whole flight from Copenhagen to Atlanta! FUN!!! Max slept well but got wet twice when Jonas knocked orange juice and water on him. That wasn't it for our spills...Max spilled 2 more cups of orange juice. All in all 3 cups of orange juice and some water on our clothes and blankets. Not so bad for a 10 hour flight! The boys sat well while we got everything situated.
Jonas sat in the bassinet but got bored quickly.

As long as Max has chips, he's a happy camper! We got smart here and poured water into a drinking bottle. We decided that all drinks on all airplane trips will be put in sippy cups or drinking bottles. Live(with kids) and learn(A LOT)!!!

Their 2 little butts fit nicely into one seat. Too bad they wouldn't sit like that the whole flight!

The Bendixen Christmas(over 4 weeks ago)

We celebrated Christmas with the Bendixen family the weekend before we left for the states. We had great food and received great presents! Max and Thilde looking at the Christmas tree.
Getting ready to dance around the Christmas tree.

Max's new Thomas the train toy(from the Bendixen/Iversen family) was a big hit. Jakob is helping Max.

Max loves his older cousins. They are always ready to play with him and give him lots of attention!

We celebrated Annette's birthday the next day. This is Max being scared out of his mind because Santa Claus came in to give him a present. Max was so afraid of Santa that his lower lip was quivering. Poor little guy was holding on to Bedstefar for dear life!

Bedstefar was good at calming Max down.
