Just relaxing...

These pictures were taken a couple months ago and I forgot to put them on. Grandma requested that I put them on because Max looks so cute and funny. He's going to takeover Grandpa's recliner when we get there in December!

Jonas is hanging out on the couch...just relaxing after a busy day.

Brothers

Jonas,"Okay, Max, this is how it's going to go...I am almost bigger than you so I'm going to make the rules. Max, " Too late, I've already made them and broken them!!"
Susse, Thomas and David gave these onesies to the boys. They are so cute!

Bedtime??????
Not if Max has anything to say about it!

Mom and Dad's bed is the best place to play!

Their "leisure" suits.

Jonas loves to watch Max.

Jonas, "That pacifier looks good."

Max, "Here, have your own!"

The boys' first time at the circus

The circus came to our neighborhood for a month so on the 12th we invited Susse and David(and Thomas but he couldn't make it) to go with the four of us. It was a great show.

The best way to ride is with a friend by your side!!! The Bendixen 4!

Max loved the horses.

Susse and David enjoying the show.

Jonas enjoyed the first half but couldn't stay awake for the second half.

Here Max is watching the elephants. It's amazing that such big animals can be trained. Maybe 2 year olds should be sent to the circus to be trained!

Boys love the construction material!

Max is 2!!!!

Our big boy is 2! Where does the time go? We are now smack dab in the terrible twos. Max has his moments but for the most part he is a wonderful little boy and a great big brother! He is saying so many things in both Danish and English. He loves trucks, trains, airplanes and cars-typical little boy! We had a party for him with friends and family on the 29th and he had so much fun playing with Kajsa and Oskar!
Max is eating candy off his kagemand(cake man).

The kagemand is the birthday cake here in Denmark. Normally you take a knife and cut the head off while everyone screams but that's for the big kids.
Here is the kagemand up close. It says Congratulations Max. They say congratulations like we say Happy Birthday. The cake is a Danish pastry made with cinnamon and icing-my favorite pastry here!
