Jonas' 5 1/2 month stats

Jonas is now 8.8kg or a little over 19lbs. and is around 70cm or 27 1/2in. He is perfecting his sitting skills and is able to get out of his Bumbo if I don't have the tray on it. He is an active little guy-I think he's taking notes from his big brother! Jonas received this homemade blanket from Grandma's friend. He loves to cuddle with it.

Here's our chunky monkey!

He loves his feet!

I love this face!

Jonas' Baptism

Two weeks ago today Jonas was baptised and I am finally getting the pictures on here! Uncle Chad and Uncle Henrik(Thomas' brother) are Jonas' Godfathers. Jonas has on the same dress that Max wore(as well as most of their cousins). I forgot to get a picture of the dress with the names on it so that will come later. Jonas was laughing the whole time when the minister was asking Chad all the questions. He didn't mind the water on his head either. I think he might be our easy-going child! The Bendixen 4!

Me and my little guy.

Uncle Chad and Jonas. Chad wore a blue tie to match Jonas blue ribbon. They look great together!
Big brother Max walking around like the stud that he is...

For those of you that were at our wedding, this is the best man's youngest son(he has 2 girls and another boy), Oscar hanging out with Max.

Far(Daddy) with Jonas. Jonas has on his "after the baptism" outfit.

More in his "after the baptism" outfit.

Always so happy!

Uncle Chad's visit

Uncle Chad arrived on the 1st and the boys were happy to see him. His birthday was the 3rd so we got him a kagemand(cake man) just like Max had at his birthday.

Max helped Uncle Chad blow out the candles.

Max's big boy bed and Jonas' "new" crib

Max finally has a big boy bed! Thank you to Uncle Chad for putting it together. Fortunately Max has been pretty good about going to bed and not getting up. In the morning I can hear his door opening and he says " God morgen" which is good morning in Danish. Last night Thomas put him to bed and 15 minutes later he came out and said "God morgen". I guess he thought he'd slept enough!! Jonas loves all the space in his new crib!

Getting ready to see how bouncy it is...

In position for a somersault...

All snug as a bug in a rug...

Not time to sleep yet...Where are you going Uncle Chad? We're still playing!

So proud of his bed!

The zoo...again!

Thomas and I bought year cards for the zoo this summer and we have used them 3 times already! Max loves to see all the animals. This trip to the zoo was with our Swedish friends, Otto and Hannah, and their two kids Ebbe and Elle. We had a great time!
