Max and Kajsa

Max's first bath with a girl!!! He and Kajsa had a great time playing in the big jacuzzi bathtub.
Max is saying..."I'm not looking. I promise!"

The kids are in their high chairs and it looks like Max is ready to eat!

A weekend with friends

This past weekend we went to our summerhouse(or cottage) in Northern Denmark with three other couples. We had a great time! Max loved being around so many people and he especially loved the older kids! Concentrating!!!
Max fell in love with Ida(5 years old) because she had a Nintendo DS.

He was also quite impressed with Ida's little sister Selma(3 years old) It looks like he's checking out her rear end but he's actually looking at her Hello Kitty belt. Poor Selma was hanging on to her mom to try and get away from Max-she thinks boys are icky!!

Here's Max again checking out Ida's Nintendo DS. Ida was so patient with Max. He kept putting his fingers in her way but she just kept playing.

Max feeding the ducks and swans

One of Max's favorite things to do is see the ducks and swans. Yesterday we fed them and he had a great time.
You can see how aggressive the swans are in this picture. The swans almost come out of the lake to get the bread.

Max was wearing gloves so it was a little difficult to grab the bread and throw it.

The lake was mostly frozen so you can see the swans and ducks walking across it.

I think we need to work a little on his bird feeding skills!

Max walking backwards

Max thinks he's big stuff when he walks backwards!

Max riding his stick horsie

For Max's first birthday he received this horsie from Susse, Thomas and David. For the past month he's been riding it all over the place. Daddy showed him how to do it and now he's a pro!

Daddy tickling Max

As I've said before...hearing Max laugh is the best sound in the world! He loves being tickled by his Daddy!

Max's first Danish Christmas

Bedstefar and Bedstemor made a fantastic Christmas dinner. Max didn't eat much. He was too busy checking out the Christmas tree and all the presents!
He did take some time for dessert(just like his mommy always does!). Bedstemor made ris a la mande(a type of rice pudding with vanilla, whipped cream and cherry sauce).

He couldn't get enough of it!

Sorry that the picture is sideways. This is the Christmas tree with just a few presents under it because we needed space to dance around it!

Bedstemor and Max lit the candles. Yes, they use real candles!

Sorry the video is so dark. The candles didn't give off much light. Max really enjoyed dancing around the Christmas tree. He's decided that we will bring that tradition over to the states! What do you think Grandpa and Grandma?

Max's first Danish Christmas(cont.)

He can't sit in the chair-he must stand in the chair.
Max was so anxious to open the presents that he was jumping on the furniture!

Max was so interested in all his new toys.

Especially his new tools! Now he can be Daddy's little helper!

I put the pictures on backwards so this is him opening the tool box.
