It's been awhile.

Wow, I can't believe how fast the past 3 months have gone by. Our camera broke(the graphics card, I think) a couple months ago and we decided to wait to buy a new one in the states. So the following video was taken without being able to see what I was filming. It turned out pretty good though. This is an example of the crazy and loud evenings in the Bendixen household.

Max's 4th birthday(September 1st)

I just can't believe how fast 4 years can go by. My little Max is no longer little. For Max's birthday we had the kids(14 of them) from his kindergarden over to our house for a couple hours. They all behaved so well. Then during the weekend we had his party with the family. The cake man is from the weekend party.

Max's classmates. He didn't want to be in the picture.

Cycling at B&B's house

This was back in the middle of June but the pictures are so cute so I had to put them on the blog. Jonas is now very good at his running bicycle. I will post some recent pictures soon. Jonas doesn't quite have the natural talent that Max has. Maybe because he's a bit chunkier! Max was 20 months when he got on the running bicycle and didn't fall at all. Jonas was 25 months and fell more times in one day than Max has in his 2 years of riding a bike! How different they are!

Trying to get his balance.

Jonas gave up and went for the easier solution.

BROTHERS!!!!!!

Just the beginning of the "wrestle manias"!

So sweet!Who is the fastest?

Bedstefar and Bedstemor had baby birds in one of their flower pots. The boys thought that was pretty cool.

Legoland-Billund, Denmark

A month ago we took the boys to Legoland. Legos were "born" in Denmark and this is the first Legoland. It was amazing! The boys loved it. We were there for just one day and didn't get to see and do everything. Next time we will go for 2 days. We were in awe over all the Lego structures. Max liked the Star Wars characters.

Jonas liked the doggie.

Of course there is a statue of Hans Christian Andersen in Legos! Bedste came with us which was a BIG help! Thanks, Bedste!

Nyhavn(new harbor) which is in Copenhagen.

The Billund airport. The airplanes moved around as well as some of the trucks.

This kept them quiet for a couple minutes.

Far(Dad) and the boys in front of Amalienborg Palace. Max did not want his picture taken.

But he was sure happy to look for gold! This is before his shirt got soaked.

And this is after his shirt was soaked. He had so much fun!

Jonas loved these big rubber Legos.

Building, building, building!

Max is our climber!

Statue of Liberty, made out of Legos.

Kennedy Space Station.

It was so cool to see all the different animals made out of Legos. Max wanted his picture with the Giraffes.

When they are sweetest...

Yes, Jonas is getting too big for his crib but we are putting off the big boy bed for as long as possible! He cannot be trusted!!!!!

I just want to kiss that gorgeous face!

Poor Thomas was afraid to move. When Jonas sleeps the house is quiet and peaceful so we try to encourage the naps!

Max, "I love my little brother when he's sleeping."

NONAS!!!!!

This was taken at the end of May. "Nonas" can answer all 3 questions without a problem now! Go NONAS!!!

Grandma's pictures

Bunny teeth.

I bought the boys a golf set which I thought they'd love. They ended up hitting each other with the clubs so now we have to monitor the golf games! Boys will be boys!

Our backyard which Grandpa cleared for us. He took out a bunch of dead bushes and gave us lots more space. Thanks, Grandpa!

One of our porches filled with dead branches.

Jonas loves to drive.

Max's happy place is on Grandpa's shoulders.

Walking up to the horse farm that is just a few houses from us.

The forrest near our house which is called Dyrehaven(The Animal Park).

All my favorite boys/men in one picture:)

Max told us that the swan is sitting on her eggs to keep them warm. He had just learned about that the week before in school.

Max's roller skates from Cousin Laurie.

Jonas tried to fit in the back of one his trucks. He did a good job.
