Max and David

Last weekend David(and his parents, Thomas and Susse) came over for dinner. The boys had a great time together. I should've taken a picture of the apartment after they were done with it. Needless to say, you had to be careful where you walked or you might step on a toy! The boys eating their fruit so peacefully. Max was eating blueberries and David was eating an apple.
Miraculously I got them both to look at the camera before they started climbing and jumping all over the couch.

Play time!!!!

Max on the beach in Florida

Max's first time walking in the sand was a little weird for him. He kept trying to pick up his feet so he didn't have to walk on it. These pictures are his second time on the beach(Siesta Key) and he was a little better. He still didn't want it on his hands so he used the shovel a lot.
He liked to keep his left hand up so it wouldn't touch the sand. If we tried to put sand on it he would shake it off.

Daddy and Max walking down to get some water.

Daddy and Max walking back from the water. Max is still a little unsure of the sand between his toes.

More of Max in Florida

I had to get a couple shots of Max in his Nikes!
This is his basketball outfit. He's ready to play!

In the hot tub with Daddy.

Max loves still loves to stand on the ledge between the pool and the hot tub.

Here is Max trying to scoop the water from the hot tub into the pool.

Max in his favorite chair and with Grandpa!

Little by little I am getting our Florida pictures on here. I haven't had much time these days for anything. There will be more pictures soon. The next couple pictures are of Max sitting in a high chair that is 68 years old! It was first used by my aunt Sandy and now Max is lucky enough to use it. It's both a high chair and a desk. They don't make them like this anymore, unfortunately! Max has his cell phone and laptop computer-just like Daddy!
No Max that's your cell phone not the remote control!

Max is finding his creative side with some crayons and paper.

Yeah! Grandpa is here to help!

Grandpa and Grandma bought Max his first set of golf clubs so Grandpa is showing Max how to swing. Tiger Woods has nothing on Max!

Max driving Uncle Lynn's golf cart

These next pictures and video are of Max driving my Uncle Lynn's golf cart. Max saw pictures of his cousin Katie riding in the golf cart and he was jealous! Thanks, Uncle Lynn, for letting us use your golf cart! Max is ready to drive!
Just a little help from Daddy.

Daddy, keep both hands on the wheel!

Max knows what he's doing...he doesn't need Daddy's help.

Max and Jonas together again!

Max and Jonas were best buddies when we were at Grandpa and Grandma's. Max loved playing with Jonas and giving him hugs and kisses. Jonas is an amazing dog because he never bit Max- even when Max pulled his ears! One thing Thomas and I have done right with Max(so far) is giving him the opportunity to love and respect animals. He loves cats and dogs already-that's my boy!
"I love you so much, Jonas!"

"Come on Jonas. I'm ready for a horsie ride!"

No need for a comment on this one!

Max and Jonas together again(cont.)

"Watcha got there Jonas? Can I see?"
What dog would let a child grab his foot while he's eating a bone? The one and only JONAS!!! The sweetest dog in the world!Max is all smiles when he's with Jonas :)
