Before and After

Thomas and I decided it was time for Max to get a real haircut instead of the "every so often" trim I gave him. With the help of candy and toys, Max sat on Thomas' lap and got his hair cut.
Max relaxing after a tough day. Notice the longer hair.

Does he want his longer hair back?
He can just use this until it grows back.

I guess he will live with it for now but Thomas and I will let it grow longer again.

The boys have matching outfits

A big thanks to Auntie Yvonne and "UB"(Uncle Bill) for these very cute outfits for the boys. Jonas is SOOOOO BIG!

My babies!

I think Max is showing Jonas who's the boss in this family!

" Look at me!!!!"

"The Max"

Max loved playing by the pool.

Max on one of the piers.

More of Bulgaria

Max loved being the "king". He got lots of attention while we were in Bulgaria. Thank you Bedstemor, Bedstefar, Lea and Annette for all your help with the boys! Every morning Max would get in his stroller and wait for someone to push him around. Needless to say, there was always someone available. He is, after all, the "king"!

Max is not yet a beach bum but he loves to make cakes in the sand. Jonas is sleeping in the stroller behind Max.

There were little trains that took us here and there. Max is crazy about trains so he screamed "TOG!"(train) every time he saw one.

Bulgaria 2009

From August 9th-16th we vacationed in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. It was all inclusive which was great for someone like me who hates to cook! Faster(Father's sister) Annette bought Max a ball, which he loved! He's standing on the pool deck, in this picture, waiting for someone to play ball with him.

Max loves ice cream!

Here's Jonas sitting in Mommy's bed.

Jonas' first flight

Just like his big brother, Jonas had his first flight just after he turned 3 months. Jonas flew from Copenhagen to Bulgaria with Max, Cousin Lea, Aunt Annette, Bedstefar, Bedstemor, Far(Dad) and Mommy. He was a great baby the whole way! Jonas loves to play with Cousin Lea!

Mommy and Jonas

We were able to get a bassinet for Jonas but he prefers Mommy's arms!

"I so tired, Mommy."

Big brother Max is always around to show Jonas the way! There's Bedstefar in the background!

Max and Christian

Our friends(Julie, Niels and Christian) from Washington, DC were here in Copenhagen for a visit. Christian remembered Max and gave him a big hug when he saw him. This is a picture of the boys just one year ago looking so innocent. The two other pictures are the boys now...not so innocent!!!!!

The luckiest woman alive-ME!!!!

Just like many other mothers in the world, I have days where I am so overwhelmed by my TO DO list. I have days where I think I'm not going to make it through. Well, today is not one of those days. I am taking today to say that even though I have a million things to do, I am the LUCKIEST woman alive! I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful boys. I have the best parents in the world and a super brother who is flying all the way over here to be Jonas' Godfather and hold him while he is christened. I married into a fantastic family who treats me as if I've always been a Bendixen. I have so much to be thankful for and am so happy to be a wife and mother to the 3 gorgeous boys you see in the pictures. I love being me!!!!!!!!

What a face!!!!

Jonas is 3 months old!

Yesterday Jonas turned 3 months! He weighs around 7.5kg or 161/2lbs. and is around 66cm or 26in. long. He is grabbing everything(including his big brother's hair) and is "talking" all the time. All smiles, as usual!
He's almost too big for his bouncer. Here he is in part of the outfit that he got from his Great Aunt Karen and Great Uncle Lynn. It was too warm for the pants.

Tour de Max and David

I forgot to put this on a few weeks ago after we visited Susse, Thomas and David. Max and David decided to have a Tour de Thomas and Susse's house!

Jonas after his bath

Our little big guy...

The other day we were getting the kids ready to go for a walk. I was in the bedroom dressing Jonas, and Max and Thomas were in the living room. Max came in the bedroom and took Jonas' jeans without me knowing. Then I asked Thomas to put Max's pants on him. He said to me that they seemed a little small. Then Max came in the bedroom again, this time wearing Jonas' jeans which are size 0-3months! I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. I must say that Thomas was watching the Tour de France so he was a little distracted! They were, at one time, Max's so maybe Thomas got confused.

Just a bit too short! Maybe a tad tight as well!

This is what they are supposed to look like.
