Max learns how to play Bingo

There's no better place to learn how to play Bingo than Venice, Florida!
Here we are at the Venice Yacht Club with Grandpa and Grandma's group of friends that they get together with every Tuesday.

Back in Grandpa and Grandma's pool

Max and I are back in Florida! Daddy comes in a week. We miss him soooo much! Max is definitely going to be a swimmer. The minute he saw the pool he started screaming with excitement. Max also loves to be in the hot tub where he can stand and look out over the pool.
He wants to jump in the pool. He thinks he knows how to swim. When we hold him he tries to wiggle out of our arms so he can swim alone. So independent!
Grandma, I don't want to get out of the pool!!!!!!!!
We'll swim again tomorrow. Right, Grandpa?

A mind of his own

I think I know what his first word will be..."NO"! A mind of his own...God help me!

Eating with a spoon

Max has realized that the spoon can be used for eating and banging the table.

Still learning...

Max is getting better at feeding himself even though most of the food still ends up on the floor or in his hair. In the last picture Max is chewing on his finger right where his eighth tooth is coming in.

Almost there!!!

Although Max prefers to crawl(it's faster and easier), he does enjoy walking with his cart.

The summerhouse

This weekend we went to the summerhouse in Loekken. The four of us relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Max loves to relax in his stroller.
Basso loves the summerhouse. You can see that he's wearing a harness in this picture. We have a long leash for him so he can be outside.

Our Sunday with friends and their kids

On Sunday we went to a party with Thomas' old swimming buddies. There were tons of kids and babies. The next two pictures are of Max and Ludvig. Ludvig was born one week after Max. He weighed 7lbs. 4 oz. which was more than 2 lbs. less than Max. The tables have turned and now Ludvig weighs 2 lbs. more than Max! I don't care how big he is. I want the toy!!!!
I promise I'll share if you give the toy back!

You know where to find us every Saturday and Sunday-just kidding Susse and Thomas! We hope to have a backyard like this for Max someday soon. And a hammock like theirs for me to rest in!

A fun time at David's house

On Saturday we visited David, Susse and Thomas. They have a HUGE backyard which is a great place to play. The weather was perfect! It doesn't look like he's enjoying the swing but he loves it!

David wasn't too sure about sharing his bumblebee with an inexperienced rider. Thomas and Susse said that David hasn't paid attention to it in months but when Max wanted to try it David found it interesting again. He was showing Max how to use it.
