One of Max's funny looks.
Just standing against the wall minding his own business(not getting into anything...).
Close up!
Not sure what he has just put in his mouth...
Max is trying to show off that he has 16 teeth now!
Max's birthday cupcake.
Max was ready to grab the candles.
Mommy and Daddy helped Max blow out the candles. As you can see by his mouth, he tried to blow them out!
Max's little feet, crossed so sweet
Mmmmm...
Get it all in there, Max!
The finished product-not too bad!
In Denmark, birthday parties are decorated with Danish flags. They are very proud of their flag because legend has it that the flag fell down from heaven during a war and it is the first known flag. You can barely see the little American flags that I put up in between the Danish flags. Had to have a little bit of the states in there!
We made a big brunch buffet for everyone!
"Look at what I got from Susse, Thomas and my buddy David! They also gave me a cool little tent to play in!"
Max is opening his gifts from Kajsa(and Krestina and Lars). I forgot to take a picture of the very cute onesie that said "Made with Love" and the fancy silverware with smileys on it.
Max loves to pet(more like hit) Lady!
Thomas had a race that day so we went to the center of the Copenhagen and watched him place 4th! Yeah, Daddy! Thomas almost rode off with Max like this but I had to put up the Mommy flag on that one!
Max got a HUGE teddy bear from his cousin Lea. He thinks it's so soft and cuddly!
Max is always willing to share his toys with his buddy, Kajsa!
Opening his present from his Faster(father's sister) Stinne, Faster Annette, Uncle Teddy Bear(Henrik), Kusine(girl cousin) Lea, Faetter (boy cousin)Tobias, Faetter Jakob, Kusine Thilde and Faetter Martin. It was a play stove/oven.
This is from Bedstemor(Grandma) and Bedstefar(Grandpa). Max is concentrating so hard!
This is Max when he was born weighing 4326grams or 9 1/2 lbs and 54 cm long or 21 1/4 in. Now he is 9.5kg or 21lbs and 80cm or 31 1/2 in.Max was busy today. I took him swimming and then when we came home he was practicing his standing/walking skills. Unfortunately I didn't have the camera for the other few times that he was standing and taking a few steps. You never know when they are going to do it!
