No more pacifier!

It's been 3 pacifier-free weeks in the Bendixen household! We decided that Max needed to stop having the pacifier before he started preschool. We thought it was going to be a tough few days but he was so good about it. We visited one of the many pacifier trees here in Copenhagen. Max hung his and Jonas'(which was not very used) up on the tree and said goodbye! We were so proud of him. Then we went to the mall and bought 2 toys for him because he did so well. That night he couldn't fall asleep but he didn't cry that much. The few days after, he asked for it a couple times and that was it! He is a big boy now!!!! The pacifier tree in Fælledparken.

He first tried to hang it here but the branch was too small.

So he tried here. That was a better place.

I think he was proud of himself for being such a big boy.

Jonas tried to suck on all the old pacifiers- of course!

What a great idea! I think the USA should have that tradition too. What a great way for kids to say good-bye to the passy.
