Christmas time in Tivoli

Last Sunday Thomas, Max, Jonas, Bedstefar, Bedstemor and I went to Tivoli to see the Christmas decorations. It was a cold but beautiful night-we got lots of fresh air:) The Bendixen 4 in front of the heart tree

The boys are looking up at a ride that has people swinging in a circle with a great view of the city.

Bedstefar bought Max a blinking Santa Claus pin. It's hard to see because of the reflectors on his snowsuit. Max was very proud of his pin. He sat with his chest out so everyone could see it.

Tivoli always has beautiful flowers. These are just a few of the many hyacinth around the park.

In the city hall square there is a big Christmas tree. The lights on the tree are powered by people riding the bikes around it. So you can see that only half the tree is lit because all the bikes are not being used. This is to coincide with the climate conference here in Copenhagen which is now being called Hopenhagen. Guess who had to try out one of the bikes...yes, Thomas just can't walk by a bike without trying it!

That looks like a great time was had by all. Especially Max who was riding on daddy's shoulders. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Christmas and all the decorations however, we are moving this year and I am not going to pull out all the decorations as I am boxing up our entire house right now. Just a note, I wouldn't advise moving with three small children, or at the holidays. NOT a good idea. Oh well. Glad you had a great time!
