Our wonderful Max
In the first video Max is singing "Are you sleeping, Brother John?" in Danish which is "Mister Jakob, Mister Jakob, sover du? sover du? Hoerer du klokken, hoerer du klokken? Bim bam boom, Bim bam boom.' The other 2 videos don't need an explanation...

Christmas time in Tivoli
Last Sunday Thomas, Max, Jonas, Bedstefar, Bedstemor and I went to Tivoli to see the Christmas decorations. It was a cold but beautiful night-we got lots of fresh air:) The Bendixen 4 in front of the heart tree
The boys are looking up at a ride that has people swinging in a circle with a great view of the city.
Bedstefar bought Max a blinking Santa Claus pin. It's hard to see because of the reflectors on his snowsuit. Max was very proud of his pin. He sat with his chest out so everyone could see it.
Tivoli always has beautiful flowers. These are just a few of the many hyacinth around the park.
In the city hall square there is a big Christmas tree. The lights on the tree are powered by people riding the bikes around it. So you can see that only half the tree is lit because all the bikes are not being used. This is to coincide with the climate conference here in Copenhagen which is now being called Hopenhagen. Guess who had to try out one of the bikes...yes, Thomas just can't walk by a bike without trying it!

Funny boys
Last week Jonas , Max and I had a nice, relaxing week at Bedstemor and Bedstefar's house. It's so great being there because I don't have to cook or clean and Max loves to play with Bedstemor and Bedstefar. He also loves their big bathtub as you will see in this video. Thank you Bedstemor and Bedstefar for a wonderful week! Jonas loves the big bath tub as well because Max is quite the entertainer when he's bathing!
You don't see much of Max because I didn't want to take the chance that he might show more than he means to-if you know what I mean!

Can't believe it
I just can't believe that 2 boys from the same parents can be so different. Jonas now weighs more at 6 months than Max weighed at 1 year!!! He weighs 9.5 kg or 21lbs. Max weighs around 12.3kg or 27lbs. right now so he better start eating or Jonas will pass him by! These 3 pictures are of Jonas with some of his baptism gifts. He received so many nice things!

Playing
The boys are really starting to enjoy each other. Max is a bit rough with Jonas sometimes but then he will turn around and kiss him on the forehead. Max is great at making Jonas laugh and giving toys to him to play with(except the ones he wants, of course.) I will never let go!!!

Jonas' 5 1/2 month stats
Jonas is now 8.8kg or a little over 19lbs. and is around 70cm or 27 1/2in. He is perfecting his sitting skills and is able to get out of his Bumbo if I don't have the tray on it. He is an active little guy-I think he's taking notes from his big brother! Jonas received this homemade blanket from Grandma's friend. He loves to cuddle with it.
Here's our chunky monkey!

Jonas' Baptism
Two weeks ago today Jonas was baptised and I am finally getting the pictures on here! Uncle Chad and Uncle Henrik(Thomas' brother) are Jonas' Godfathers. Jonas has on the same dress that Max wore(as well as most of their cousins). I forgot to get a picture of the dress with the names on it so that will come later. Jonas was laughing the whole time when the minister was asking Chad all the questions. He didn't mind the water on his head either. I think he might be our easy-going child! The Bendixen 4!

Max's big boy bed and Jonas' "new" crib
Max finally has a big boy bed! Thank you to Uncle Chad for putting it together. Fortunately Max has been pretty good about going to bed and not getting up. In the morning I can hear his door opening and he says " God morgen" which is good morning in Danish. Last night Thomas put him to bed and 15 minutes later he came out and said "God morgen". I guess he thought he'd slept enough!! Jonas loves all the space in his new crib!
The zoo...again!
