In Denmark, birthday parties are decorated with Danish flags. They are very proud of their flag because legend has it that the flag fell down from heaven during a war and it is the first known flag. You can barely see the little American flags that I put up in between the Danish flags. Had to have a little bit of the states in there!
We made a big brunch buffet for everyone!Max eating his birthday cake!

Hi Max, Happy Birthday! You are such a big boy now. Riding on bycycles, jumping on trampolines, and trying to beat Michael Phelps in your bath tub. We miss you all so much and can't wait to see you next summer in DK... love Sacha and Kian & Co.
We always have Danish flags in our house for birthdays and my mom lines the driveway too :-)
