On Saturday, December 1st, Max was baptized at 10:30am. He was wearing a special dress, made by his
Bedstemor(Grandma
Bendixen), that his cousins wore at their baptism. After each baptism,
Bedstemor embroiders the name and the date of the baptism. The ribbon is blue because Max is a boy. The girls have pink ribbon. In the second picture the three Godparents are with the priest and Max. They are Annette
Bendixen and
Stinne Bendixen(Thomas' big sisters) and
Jesper Jensen(Thomas' childhood friend). After the baptism we had a nice lunch with family and friends. Max was a good boy all day but was very tired from all the attention!

What a beautiful dress. I love that it's a family tradition. I want to bless Myles in a dress too, but it's not the norm here and everyone is giving me crap about it. I bought the dress before we were even pregnant in Belgum. I love it and Myles is going to wear it even if everyone thinks I am crazy. Love to see all the updates.
