More pictures of the new addition!

It's taken me awhile to get on the computer-2 kids take a lot of time! All is well but crazy these days. The "little guy" with a cloth diaper on his head. They don't keep hats on them here like they do in the states.

Our "go to" guy, Lars holding the "little guy" and his daughter(Max's good friend), Kajsa. Thanks again, Lars, for taking good care of our "big guy"!

I don't think Thomas could be more proud!

We had the same family room for both boys! The family room is a private room with a hospital bed and a couch(for the Dad), a bathroom and a changing table.

Bringing home baby!

Max wasn't so interested in his new little brother. He was more interested in the little slide that was outside in the waiting room.

The newest Bendixen has arrived!

Wednesday morning(or night, depending on how you look at it) at 12:30am, I started feeling some pain but I thought it was something I ate...well, the pain was coming every 5-10 minutes so I then thought that it could be contractions. My water broke with Max so I expected that to happen again. Anyway, at about 1:30am I was very sure that I was in labor so I woke up Thomas and, just like with Max, he said to lay down and wait a little. Needless to say, I couldn't lay down. Thomas then called our "go to" man, Lars, to come over and take care of Max. We got to the hospital at 2:50am and our little man was born at 4:37am! The midwives thought that he was possibly looking up so it might take a while for him to turn but at 4:35 I told them I had to push and 2 minutes later he made his grand entrance! Surprised the $%#%#$ out of them!! I heard one midwife yell, "she's delivering!" It was another great birth and both Thomas and I were beyond happy to meet our little boy. Fresh out of the oven!
Proud Momma and her boy!

I'm on the phone with my parents, and feeding the little guy, and next to me is the cart they bring in after the birth. It has toast, jam and cheese and some coffee, tea and water. They really make it cozy and relaxing!

Proud Papa and his boy!

Fun before bedtime!

Max was not ready to go to bed last night after such a fun weekend. He was full of life up until 10pm! "Look Momma, I have ears like Jonas!"
"I'm coming to get you, Basso!"

Airplanes,airplanes, airplanes!

One of Max's favorite things is airplanes(helicopters as well). He can hear one coming and right away he looks up to the sky and points. Yesterday we went to the Fly Grill which is right next to one of the runways at the airport. We had lunch and watched the planes take off. Max was in heaven. He got so excited every time a plane took off. Daddy and Max pointing to an airplane.

I guess Max was trying to be as loud as the airplane.

This is his normal look and pose when he sees an airplane.

We had to take some time for the playground. Daddy played, too!

Max loves to slide!

And swing!!!!

The mountain bike race

Saturday was a great day for Max. Thomas took part in a 12 hour mountain bike race so Max and I went to see him. Max loved watching all the people go by on their bikes(Thomas has brainwashed him!). He clapped his hands and yelled "YEAH!" when they rode by. Max was so tired by the end of the day.
He played hard all day!

Here comes Daddy!

"Go Daddy Go!

Kajsa and Max enjoy each other every time they are together. I meant to take a picture but the camera was on video so it's a very short video.

Max loves to visit Kajsa!

Last night we went to Lars and Krestina's for dinner. Kajsa and Max got along so well!
Max loves his "Uncle" Lars!

The kids being silly! Max is trying to do a somersault-Thomas has been trying to teach him that.

Viewer discretion advised!!!!!

Here I am at 39 weeks with Max.
And here I am with Baby #2 at 37 weeks! I am bigger-which explains the stretch marks! I visited the midwife around the 37th week(I am week 38 now) and she guessed that the baby was 8 pounds. Another big baby for the Bendixens!

Max in Daddy's shoes

Max talks about his "sko"(Danish for shoes) all the time. Now he's interested in Daddy's shoes!

Max and David at the playground

Today we met Susse, Thomas and David at one of the playgrounds here in Copenhagen. Max loves following David around and copying everything he does. David is teaching Max how to be a good big brother! The boys look so innocent eating their cookies.
UH-OH! What did they do?

More from Easter weekend(a little late)

Faster Annette brought chocolate Easter bunnies for all the kids. They had to find them around the yard but Max didn't quite understand the concept. He DID understand the concept of chocolate-all too well! Here's Daddy taking the wrapping off the bunny. Max can't wait to get his hands on it and the chocolate in his mouth!
He tried to get the whole thing in his mouth.

He's always willing to share with Daddy!

We visited some friends who have a great backyard. Max loves to swing!
