The inevitable

I knew it would happen...I just wasn't sure where or when. Well, it happened a couple weeks ago and it happened on our newly painted walls in our new house! Max decided to express his artistic abilities on the wall behind our bed. We have elevation beds(which I highly recommend!) and Max likes to put the bed all the way up and roll his cars down the slant. I saw him doing it one day and thought nothing of. I left the room to do some things and then a few minutes later Max called me in and said, "Momma, I'm drawing". And, not thinking(or looking) I said, "Great, Max!" Little did I know, I left crayons under the bed and Max found them and used them! I couldn't get mad at him but I did tell him not to do it again. Honestly, I thought it was funny because every kid does it and when we've visited some friends and their kids wrote on the walls I laughed. I didn't laugh in front of Max but inside I was! This may not be the last time he does it and if he does it again, well, it's just a wall. I've learned in the short time that I have been a mom that these little things are just that, little things.

Thomas' Mercedes

Thomas and Max went for a ride in the Mercedes but Max just couldn't stay awake.

Our new babysitter-Yeah!

Not only did we buy a wonderful house in a great location, but right across the street is a 13 year old girl(Anna) who is our new babysitter! She is so sweet and so good with the boys.

Bathtime-in a real bathtub!

One of the reasons I love our new house is for the BIG bathtub! The boys love taking baths, especially now that they have so much space. Here is the bathtub the boys used when we lived in an apartment. We usually bathed them separately.
Now we can throw them both in and they can play, play, play!

Love, love, love our new house!

Max is 3(a month ago)

What a wonderful 3 years it has been! We love our Max so much!

Moving fun

I am 2 months behind on posting pictures...working is taking too much time! After a year of looking for a house we finally bought one on July 1st! We moved in on August 13th. The house is wonderful and I will try to get some pictures posted. Here are some pictures of the boys helping with the moving process.

Summerhouse 2010

We had our second annual weekend at the summerhouse(Lars' boss's summerhouse) the last weekend in July. It was a great weekend with wonderful friends. You can see Max's haircut in pictures.

More summer photos

When we got back from our summer vacation Jonas got a haircut(a real one). Thomas took him and he sat all by himself in the booster seat. He didn't move except when Thomas waved to him he waved back. He surprised me! I thought he would have a fit like Max does. Here are some pictures from July of the boys. Max got a haircut as well but later in the month.

Summer vacation(the French Alps part)

And FINALLY the second part of our summer vacation! I have been wanting to see a mountain stage of the Tour de France for the last few years so we decided to make our way to the French Alps. We rented an apartment in Morzine which is a gorgeous city in the French Alps. I fell in love with the place and would love to go back next summer. This was a great place to be for the Tour de France because we were able to see the riders go up a mountain, stay in the same city where they stayed for one of their rest days and then see them start another stage. At every start there is a little fenced off area which they call the Village Depart. This is for all the sponsors and riders and there's free food and drinks. We were standing outside one of the fences looking in(wanting to go in) when a French woman asked me(and Jonas) if we'd like to come in. So we put on the entrance bands and in we went. That was the icing on the cake. What a great experience!

Our beautiful drive through the French Alps.

We went through the Mont Blanc tunnel. Mont Blanc is the highest point in Europe.

Waiting for the riders to come up the mountain.

Here they come...

The ladies!

I think Max enjoyed seeing the riders but he enjoyed the helicopters the most!

Max isn't the best at posing for pictures.

Max and Kajsa were very sweet to share their lollipops with Jonas.

One of Lance's bicycles.

Max was in heaven seeing so many motorcyles in one place!

We went to the public pool one of the days. This was on the way home from the pool.

We brought one stroller with and it worked very well. Having both boys in at the same time wasn't a problem.

A little train to play in.

Beautiful views every where you look!

So many cars in the Tour de France.

Here we are in the Village Depart.

Jerome Pineau, wearing the mountain jersey, took a break in the Village Depart before the start.

Jonas wasn't too happy being held by Brian Vanborg(a Danish rider).

Andy Schleck- second place winner.

A lot of celebrities have visited the Village Depart.

Future Tour De France winner, Jonas Marvin Bendixen!

Not a chance in _ _ _ _ winner, Darci Lee Bendixen!

We took a pitstop in Switzerland during our drive back to Denmark.

Having fun with water

Forgot to put this on with the Tuscany pictures.
