Max is able to sit on the couch by himself now. He also likes to sit in his stroller. He no longer wants to lay down-he likes to sit up and see everything. Here's another video of Max. We had to take the other one off because Daddy and Basso were trying to upstage him.

We have found our nanny! Javier is a friend from Mexico. He's the brother of one of our college friends. Max went right to sleep in his arms.
On Thursday evening we took Max to his first swim meet. Crown Princess Mary(the first picture) was there to give out the prizes. As you can see in the last picture, Max wasn't impressed by the future Queen of Denmark! The noise of the crowd didn't seem to faze him either.
On Thursday Max and I met with our mother group. Fortunately we live where there are many international people. The first baby is Jamie. He was born July 11th and his mom is Jamaican/American married to a Danish man. The second baby is Ellie. She was born August 21st and her mom is Finnish married to an American. The third baby is Sofia. She was born August 31st and her parents are Mexican. I knew them before because they lived in the apartment below us. And you all know the fourth baby...MAX COLBY BENDIXEN!!! 
We think Basso is getting used to Max. He no longer runs when Max cries. In the first picture Basso is keeping the diaper changing area warm for Max.
Max wasn't too happy in the pool but he loved to watch all the people while they went down the water slide and played in the pool. We took him in the small pool which is really warm so it was too foggy to take pictures. You can see the fog in the above pictures. Max has taken to his fist and is determined to get at least one of them all the way in!
Uncle Chad was here for a visit from Monday until today. Max loved to play with him. He smiled and laughed when Uncle Chad talked to him.
Max had his 2 month check up on Thursday. He is now 14 lbs or 6.3 kg and 25 1/4 in or 64 cm. He is happy and healthy! Here are a few pictures of Max watching TV when he should be looking in his mirror. I love his backside so I had to take a picture. What a cute butt!
