Max's first time on a trampoline(at the Jensen's house) was so exciting! He didn't want to get off.

Visiting the Jensen family

We visited one of Thomas' childhood friends(he was the best man in our wedding), Jesper and his family. As you can see they have 4 beautiful children. From left to right...Caroline(10 years) Jesper(29 years, ha ha), Oscar(almost 3 years), Christine(Jesper's wife-also 29 years, ha ha), Tobias(9 years) and Frederikke(13 years).

Fun in Bedstemor and Bedstefar's pool

Max had a great time in Bedstemor(Grandma) and Bedstefar's(Grandpa) pool. He is a little small yet to have a lot of water in it but he still crawled back and forth like he was swimming laps. I just know he's going to be an Olympic swimmer!

Max loves to eat peas!

We are still working on how to eat without having more food on the floor then in the mouth. It's a long process, I'm finding out!

Max is a dancing fool!

Max loves it when music is playing because he loves to dance. We aren't sure yet if he has Mommy's rhythm(decent) or Daddy's rhythm(non-existent). Sorry, Daddy!

What has Max been doing this week?

Playing in the bathtub is one of Max's favorite things to do. Here he is demonstrating his "I'm Billy Idol" do!

Max has become quite the climber. He has just figured out that he doesn't have to sit in his high chair-he can stand instead. He also loves to climb up on the couch(with a little push on his rear end) and then get down, and climb up and get down, and climb up and get down.....
"Look at this view, Mommy! Are you sure you don't want to keep this apartment and continue carrying me up and down 5 flights of stairs, along with groceries and a diaper bag, once or twice a day?"
Today we received a letter saying that Max has a spot in the day care starting September 1st(what a way to celebrate his first birthday!). This was his expression when I told him that he no longer has to play with just Mommy all day! Will it be harder for Max to let go or will it be harder for Mommy to let go? I think we all know the answer to that! How fast this year has gone by... our boy is growing up!

Thank you Grandpa and Grandma!

Another amazing trip to Florida to see Grandpa and Grandma! I was spoiled with toys and lots of hugs and kisses from Grandpa and Grandma. Mommy spent her first full night away from me-she and Daddy had an evening to themselves- while Grandpa and Grandma took such good care of me! Thank you for everything, Grandpa and Grandma! I miss you so much already!

Max loved Kian's laugh so he tried to copy it! And Max does SOOOO BIG- which Grandpa Greg has been working on every time we're in Florida!

Max can't ride the bike just yet(his father wants him to start riding now and will check his lung capacity on his first birthday) but Jackson gives him a few pointers so when Max visits Grandpa and Grandma again...LOOK OUT!!!

Grandpa and Grandma bought Max a swimsuit that has a built in floatie so he can swim by himself. It didn't quite work because he was a bit too small for it. Maybe next time!

Max had fun with his pal, Murphy. She is Great Aunt Sandy and Great Uncle Don's dog. Murphy had to be near Max whenever possible. Of course Max didn't mind because he loves animals!

Max eats a cupcake for the first time

Max's 2nd Cousin Laurie insisted that he have his first cupcake since she won't be with him for his first birthday. Needless to say, Max loved the cupcake! I think he's going to have the same sweet tooth that his Mommy has! Thank you Cousin Laurie!

Max meets his Great Uncle Don and Cousin Tim

Max is a world traveler! He visited his Great Uncle Don and Great Aunt Sandy in Kalama, Washington. He couldn't get enough of his Uncle Don. Every time Uncle Don came in the room Max held up his arms to be picked up by him! He also met his "2nd" cousin Tim. Max loved his hat!
