Max is on the move- FOR REAL!!!

Who says it gets easier? Now that Max is crawling and pulling himself up, I REALLY get nothing done! I have to watch him all the time. He gets into EVERYTHING!! I don't know what I did to my parents when I was a child but I am getting it back big time!

Congrats to Kate and Martin!

Congratulations to our dear friends, Kate and Martin, on the birth of their little boy, Oskar Willows Franzten. He was born Friday, April 11th at 6:05pm. He weighed 3340grams or 7lbs. 4oz. and was 53cm or about 21in. long. Max has another playmate!!!

Max meets his "2nd" cousin Anna

Max met his 2nd cousin, Anna, for the first time. She is 9 months old. She is Thomas' cousin Peter's daughter. Even though Anna outweighs Max by almost 6 1/2 pounds, he wasn't afraid to help himself to her toys! Max weighs 18 1/2 pounds and Anna weighs 25 pounds. Yes, they are only a month and a half apart!!!!

They played well together and shared their toys. I've found that Max always likes other babies toys more than his own. The grass is greener on the other side even for babies!

Cousin Jakob's Confirmation

On Friday Max's cousin Jakob was confirmed in the church. It was a great day! Max loved it because there was so much to do and see! Needless to say, he was a very tired little boy at the end of the day.Congratulations, Cousin Jakob! Here is Max with Jakob. Jakob got a bowl of "cool cash"(coins frozen in ice) so Max helped him get the money. Be careful, Jakob, Max might take a little for himself!

It's bedtime Max!

It's getting a little difficult to put Max to bed. We can lay him down and kiss him good night but when we check on him a couple minutes later, this is what we find. The little stinker likes to walk around in his crib!

Visiting Bedstemor and Bedstefar

This past weekend we were in Varde at Bedstemor and Bedstefar's house. They have great floors for me to perfect my crawling skills!Look at me in Daddy's helmet waving to my fans!
Mommy bought me a ball. It's so fun to chase it now that I can move across the floor!
And eat it!
Bedstemor and Bedstefar have a swing in their house. I love to swing!
Bedstemor is making me laugh. It was a great time at Bedstemor and Bedstefar's!

No more sitting for Max!

Max is pulling himself up on everything. If I put him down on the floor next to me while I'm doing the dishes, he pulls up on my pant leg. He also pulls himself up in his crib. I'll hear him talking and when I go in he's standing there with a big smile on his face!

Max is on the move- kinda!

Max has learned to pull himself around. In the first picture, I left him on his play mat and went to the bedroom for a minute. When I came back out he was under the coffee table. The video is Max at the mother group today. He wants to move but he is not happy about how much effort it takes!

Max, Elli and Jamie

Max and Mommy met with the mother group today. Sophia was missing because her Mommy is working again. In the first picture we have three of them. That didn't last too long. Jamie got bored and crawled away. Max likes Elli because she has a lot of hair to pull and she's half American:)!

Fun at the Noerrevang's

Yesterday was Mommy and Daddy's two year anniversary. So I went to the Noerrevang's to play with my good friend Kajsa while Mommy and Daddy went out to dinner. Kajsa had a little fever so I got to play with her daddy, Lars. He is so much fun! I love to sit on his shoulders and smack his head. Thank you Lars, Krestina and Kajsa for taking such good care of me!

Daddy wins the race!

Today Max went to his first race(the first one that he was awake for) and Daddy won it for him! Max and Daddy are standing on the first place podium together. It was a cold day so Max had his winter gear on. Oh, and Mommy got the flowers.

Max's first hair cut

Max's hair was getting in his eyes so we decided to give him a hair cut. It's a little uneven due to the fact that he doesn't sit still. In the video he tells you about his "new do" but then gets mad at Mommy because he's ready to get out of his high chair.

More teeth!

Max has 3 more teeth coming through! At this rate he will have all his teeth before his first birthday! Sorry for the food on the side of his mouth but getting this picture was not easy-had to take it when I could :)

The 7th month stance!

Max really loves to stand and hold on to things. He gets so excited when he can stand and stomp his feet. He can pull himself up every now and then but if he falls he gets mad and cries-easily frustrated like his Mommy!
